I am so excited! I just found the web sight where my horse was made and foaled at!!!
I seen pictures of his sire and in the foal section I seen pictures of his full siblings!!!
My Charley is the only one who came out few spots-to solid white with what I seen.

Why is your horse out of commission?? That poker ride does sound like a lot of fun..We have a Harley bike group here that does the poker run...
That sounds like a nice prize!!

Don't say that, Charley! Lol. Aires is supposed to top out at 16.3hh. He was already taller than his (15.1hh) APHA sire as a 2yo. His dam was about 17hh. Right now he looks like a pinto friesian because of the way he's built and the way he carries himself. Lol

I am ready to start cussing. We have started hay this week. The forecast was hot and sunny until Sunday when we started cutting on Mon. One lap around the field and the mower broke. Got it fixed, mowed the rest of one field Tues, so we had planned to get it up Fri or Sat depending on how fast it dried. This morning the forecast changed to 50% chance of rain on Fri, and 60% on Sat! I am seriously ticked off. Best field we cut and we may lose it completely. Not to mention I got so sunburned at work/training today. The barn we went to had a new horse and he was pissy as heck, wanted to kick at the trimmer, so I ended up giving him a groundwork session in his paddock while she did a different horse. And then we did the others while they were out, which we never do. And then I had to catch a donkey that dislikes people at the other place we went. So I didn't have any sunscreen on and was out in the sun basically all day. And now I look like a lobster. Grrrr

I'm down!!!!

We are getting ready for two HUGE weeks here and my brain is toast, soggy toast. I haven't slept more than 4 hours in the past few weeks and all I can say is RED SOLO CUP, git yer a$$ over here and fill it up!

Sigh... Gorgeous horses guys! M I'm diggin Merit, really looking GOOD!

I've been going out and smelling the horses, aroma therapy. I can hardly remember what it feels like to RIDE THEM?
All shiny, fat, and dappled right now... Saturday, surely I can get at least 30 minutes...

I got (unofficial) word today that the job offer I talked about earlier is a definite go! My friend that works with me that is going to be the GM is quitting at the end of today (which is in 3 more hours). Then in the next week to two weeks, he's going to hire me. Words cannot even begin to express how excited I am!! Now I just need office-appropriate clothes. Lol. I have some, but they are way too small (from before I gained all this weight). Maybe Robert will treat me to a "shopping spree" (I am a bargain shopper, so for under $100 I could get an entire new wardrobe, including shoes and accessories).
