Drafty, as you know I have foster kids, I like to see the good in them - but my dogs know, and react and can't lie. When someone is bad, the dogs show me. Listen to your cat.

Is there anything you can do? Can you get your own place? Or kick him out?

I feel like you are playing nice and putting up with it, why?

Well hopefully he is out of your hair soon then, Drafty. In the mean time don't let him walk all over you! -humpf!-

Drafty, I hope things get better soon.

My niece graduated high school today, and I get to spend time with my dad and extra mom, as well as the rest of the family. Yay!

Hey guys,

I know I've been AWOL for the past week...or so...I've been stalking the board here and there, reading a bit. Again, it's nice (no good way to put that!) to know that I'm not the only one that has all sorts of random CRAP go wrong in my life. I think that a lot of people glorify things...I'm glad we all trust each other enough to just lay some of it out like it is and admit that we feel crappy about something.

I've been totally down in the dumps. The hubby was officially out of the USMC as of the first... That's the day he should have gotten his last paycheck, with his separation (or as I like to call it, the "#@$% you" money) pending. Yeah, well they didn't. So though we were barely building back up a little padding from court and everything else...well everything was gone by this week...we had to get assistance, which sucked...but then they turned the power off yesterday afternoon ...not cuz we didn't have the money to pay the bill...but simply because DH forgot to pay it...

Drafty, I totally remember when you mentioned Robert not doing it...I tried not to be mad. I tried soooo hard...

Anyway it's just been tough to get out of bed lately, with everything going on. My ex is still being a *^#$ nozzle. DD isn't getting her mail, I can't talk to her past the "time YOU asked for"...basically just being a total jerk. At least the US gov finally saw fit to compensate my husband, so next week when DD comes home for two weeks (before we move, we get her back for five after I think), we'll be able to take her to Hershey and Gettysburg like I promised. YAY!

On another note, anyone know reliable information on whether or not a crypto stud's jewels generally put out any working sperm? The BO put Mama Pony out with her son this morning (he's been in a stall for a couple months due to ortho shoes) for a couple hours. The farrier and vet said it's unlikely that they work, he hasn't shown any inclination, and I don't think he can reach...but I was still nervous!!!

Disclaimer: She totally didn't think about it and apologized profusely. Also I don't think Pumpkin realizes he has a weiner yet....I just don't want to find out the hard way lol. We're waiting until we move to get the surgery done if he hasn't dropped by then...with three mares, two of which he DEF can't reach, the potential for him to annoy one of them into violent action is too great, and he is frail. =(

Gentle hugs Demon, it sounds like you have not had the best time lately.
I don't know the answers to your questions, so will leave that for others.

Alex, turns out he's NOT going to be staying "with" us, as it is against city ordinance. I'm proud to say that Robert is the one who put his foot down and told him. So, he's living with "Mommy Dearest" for now.

I'm "playing nice" because if I don't, Robert's family will make his life a living hell. I'm not going to do that to him.

I can't get my own place (I'm assuming you mean me by myself?) because I can't afford it. At least not until this new job gets under way. Then I'll be making almost double what I am now. If you mean us moving out of this place, we're working on it. We really want to find a rent-to-own type situation, preferably with horse property.

Demon, I'm sorry things haven't been great with you. Just know that I know pretty much exactly what you're going through. *big hugs*

I'm finally getting some relief from my tooth. I hope to get it filled next week. On June 11th I have two other teeth pulled.

Being horseless is the pits!!

Soooo many comments, hugs, prayers and the like which I WANT to make, alas, y'all are again spared a horrifically long post by me as I must shower for my "Friday" @ work which I pray will go as well as the past two days (back-breaking tough, but, all pt's are safe, happy, well cared for despite my being WAAAAY UNDERSTAFFED and them being WAAAAY ACUTE, in terms of level of severity of illness/nursing needs, etc...

Vertu quickly and from what my work-addled brain can recall after reading the past two pages rapidly:

Drafty, Maple, Apache, Horse lovin, and Demon; HUGE HORSEY-SIZED HUGS AND MASSIVE PRAYERS TO YOU ALL for dealing with, and hopes TO SOON NOT be dealing with all which you are! Drafty, am THRILLED FOR THE NEW JOB!! You couldn't deserve it MORE!! Apachie, MOTRIN? Would that help at this point with the elbow? Prayers for weather and hay related luck!!
Maple; DH JUST had similar experience re: crap pay unexpectedly for an AMAZING JOB WELL DONE. HOW DO EMPLOYERS LIVE WITH THEMSELVES SOMETIMES?

Alex; you kick arse!! Love the rub home or miss vid games! WAY TO hammer THAT POINT HOME. YOU GO, WOMAN!!

Re; horse pics. I love love love them all (& I'm generalizing as in a hurry, yet 100% true. Will give specifics as to why for each this (my) weekend.

Hoping y'all might be willing to keep prayers coming one more day for me?? My car is having a word problem so DH will take it to the shop this am after taking me to work, but...please pray it runs well enough to get me to work and him to shop as I will not ride the new motorcycle (CHICKEN!!!). So much of my own weird CRAP of this post few days to share tomorrow with y'all...I'll get you guys feeling better about your "situations" by comparison, I promise! ;0)

Kay gotta run. Really missed y'all yesterday. Actually thought to myself at about 6 pm, "I just want to relax and go on HF and read about/write to my peeps!" :0) this thread means a whole lot to me, as do all if you kick ASS people!

Again, hugs and prayers to all! B2H
