Angry 76 Arabians starved in Texas

This is just an awful story... Thankfully the horses have been taken and the farm owner arrested. I can't afford much, but I'm sending a small cash donation and some dewormer.

I believe the Humane Society of North Texas is working on this case. I'm going to contact the Denton CO Sheriff to see what other groups are involved.

Sitting here reading through tears in my eyes. The photos are absolutely sickening. Thank god someone saw the situation for what it was and took action for the horses!

I cannot fathom anyone doing something so horrific and cruel. For those he did own there are auctions, websites, rescues or giving them away that would have been far better even if some had ended up at a Canadian kill plant it would have been better than starving like this. For any that did not belong to him I sincerely hope they locate the owners and question them as well, how could you take your horse to any farm for stud service and not check on it regularly?

there is a special place in hell for people like this. someone mentioned that these people should be put onto an animal abuse registry (like sex offenders) and when they go to purchase an animal, their name should come up and they should refused that animal. they should also have to register their address and have the APL make frequent visits to their house to make sure they have gotten no other animals.
