About YOUR horse... part 3!

Ah, another survey. You know what to do.... I hope! (If not, see About YOUR horse... part 1 and 2)

Section 1 - Rider questionare

I ride: Western

I love it because: The saddle is more comfortable, in my opinion! Plus, my gelding is totally Western.

I learned to ride in this type of saddle: English )-:

My favorite thing to do whilst riding my horse is: Gallop down the driveway and scare the heck out of my trainer!

I ride this many times a week: 3, but I'm at the stable every day!

This is what I do BEFORE I ride: Spend some "bonding time" in Colby's stall.

This is what I do AFTER I ride: Cool him down, give him a kiss and take him out to the pasture.

At shows, I like to do this to warm my horse up: I don't compete with Colby )-:

The last ribbon I won was this color: ^_^

If you were to blindfold me, I'd be able to find my horse's stall in a matter of minutes: Probably true - I'd take my time, so it may be a little longer!

My horse is this tall: Sixteen two hands.

I trained my horse myself: False

I would do best in a Western Pleasure class: Probably true

I would do best in a hunter jumper class: Totally false

I let my friends ride my horse: Nope. Sorry. He's all mine xP

I have no problem riding in the rain: True! I love it, actually!

I've gone swimming with my horse: )-: False!

I've ridden bareback on my horse before: True, but only once.

I love every second I'm with my horse: True

Section 2 - everything else!

If you had a carrot in your hand, my horse would probably: Stare you down until you fed it to him.

When you brush down my horse after a good workout, he/she: Sighs and shifts from foot to foot.

When you approach with a saddle/halter/bridle etc., my horse would probably: Look at you as if you were crazy, and then proceed to act offended as you saddle/halter/bridle him.

When the farrier comes to visit, my horse does this: Runs away from his truck and makes me chase after him.

When the vet comes to visit my horse does this: Runs away from his truck and makes me chase after him! He has a problem with these people...

On the trail, my horse will spook at: Anything within three feet of him.

In the arena, my horse will spook at: Anything he darn pleases, thank you very much!

I've braided my horse's mane and tail before: Um... just his forelock!

If I were to enter my horse in a costume contest, he/she would go as: Hm.... an old-western robber.

Section 3 - More, more, more about my horse!

When I tighten my horse's girth, he: Moves away from me.

When I am mad at my horse I usually do this: Yell at him or smack his hindquarters.

I use this type of halter on him: Rope halter. We used to use nylon, but rope halters are easier to adjust.

In the trailer my horse will: Kick and make a big fuss about nothing.

My horse can be bred: False! He's a gelding, true to form.

My horse is okay with other animals: When he chooses to be!

My horse does not like it when people: Wave their arms in front of him, or scream at one another.

My horse would do well as a theraputic riding horse: False - he's too rambunctious!

On a number between 1-2000, this is how much I love my horse: 2000+!

(If you answered 2000 or above, good for you. If you answered below 2000, what a shame.)

Stay tuned for part 4!
