Question Advice on Freeze brand required.. stuck?

Hello, I bought this mare, 15.1 connemara x tb i was told but not seeing much tb!

She has a freeze brand on her right mid neck that i have never seen anything like before and have searched everywhere to find information but cant find anything.

Need some advice! I dont know alot on this mare except that shes pin fired, she doesnt seem to be 7-8 which i was informed she was and im just stuck. I bought at auction and she had a new passport to hide something.

Please let me know :)

Welcome to the forum!

I'm more interested in the pin firing. It is an old method typically used on racehorses thought to expedite healing of splint problems and other leg injuries.

As for the branding, unless someone recognizes it, or you know where the horse came from, or someone knows that that type of brand is used somewhere, then I don't know how to even begin.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Yes, shes sadly pin fired, i've read up an awful lot on it and have now acquired some knowledge on it. Please private message me for a chat about it :)
