Question Advice needed

Last year I leased my stallion to some "top breeder". I did this because they assured me they would promote him and get his name out there. In the signed lease agreement they also agreed to pay him into the Incentive fund. They will also ship me semen for just the cost of shipping. This is a win all around for me right? After 3 shipments I get a bill for $900. $300 per shipment. I should have spoke up then but I paid it and went on. This year they are promoting there new stallion and never mention my horse. Strike 2. Finally I discover they never paid him into the Incentive fund. I emailed them about it a month ago and they act like it is no big deal they will take care of it. I have been emailing them again with no response. I contacted AQHA yesterday and they still haven't paid him up. What do I do? I feel they should just bring him back but since it is 1200 miles I am sure that won't happen. Should I just show up at there place and get him? I don't want to be the bad one and get a bad name but I can't let this go on, can I.

Green Broke
Do you have a contract stating what they have to do? If so, see what recourse is in there. Do they owe you money, do they have to pay to return him as they broke the terms? If all that fails, I'd go and get him.

If you have a legal binding contrac I would speak with a lawyer who deals with equine situations. If they are not standing by the lease agreement they should pay for him o be shipped home as they are the ones who broke the agreement. But definitely seek legal advice. Good luck!
