AHHH!!! I hacked Denny's mane off!!

It's now an inch and a half long, and sticks straight up in a mowhawk! I meant to just clean it up and ended up doing that instead!! I'll bring my camera and get pictures tomorrow. Poor pony...

The one good thing about hair is that it grows back!

I roached my Arab gelding's mane one year. When it grew back, it stood straight up until it was about 6 inches long. Talk about a wild looking mohawk!

We're going into winter anyway, so hopefully not a lot of folks will see your hack job.

Hahaha very true. After a while it grew on me.. BUT I used blunt scissors and one side looks thoroughly mangled. The other side is nice... maybe it will compliment his skinny neck. *sigh*

PS - I love your username. I have an ex (who I am still friends with) who says "ha ha!" almost every line whenever we chat online. My boyfriend calls him "Speed Racer" and makes fun of him for his constant "ha ha! Ha ha!"ing.

Oh no! I wouldnt worry to much though it'll grow back, and I bet he's still just as adorable as always!
Can't wait to see pics, lol :)

Laugh! Cute.

I had two loves when I was wee girl child. The first was horses and the second was Speed Racer.

I also chose it as kind of a joke, because I'm anything except speedy nowadays!

Aww, I can't wait to see pictures. Lol. I roached Scout's mane only because of a very very nasty tangle, and it stood straight up like a mohawk even at 4 inches long, lol. Finally it is starting to tilt at being 5 inches because I have been doing nothing but banding it and training it to lay down, haha. I seriously don't see how some horse's manes will lay down to one side at even 2-3 inches long. Scout's would NEVER do that. It is way to thick, lol.

I HATE his mane like this:

So... maybe it's not such a bad thing it's mostly gone?

Yeah.. fresh start to be regrown from!! :) heehee... it'll grow back, we've all made our horses look a little funky...

I body clipped my mare for the first time when I was 13, and she was UUUUGLY for about 3 weeks... SO uneven lol!

I think he looks so adorable! How old is he? It brings out his youngness, lol.
