I am finally allowed to drive the horse trailer on my own after my Dad gave me a sort of test.. Yay!!
Anyways, we went just a short distance away this morning, but I do have pics! :D:D

^^Mt. Rainier and in the bottom corner is the truck and trailer...

^^ Mt. Adams

We also had our first encounter with a rattle snake. It was around 1 1/2ft and had a really loud rattle...

And then later on we saw two cottentails. :)

I live in Washington! I saw "Mt. Rainier" and was like, "Is there more than?" Haha. We're neighbors! At least in the HF world, lol. =]

Way to go on passing your dad's "test." I haven't hauled a trailer yet. Partly because I don't have one to haul, partly because my truck isn't big enough to haul a loaded horse trailer, and mostly because I'm a big ol' chicken, lol. It's on the to-do list. =P

And beautiful trails, I wish I had somewhere like that to go. But again, no trailer or truck to haul it with! And you have a very pretty horse. How did he handle the snakes? I think my mare would have crawled in my lap. o_O

Wow! Another Washingtonian, that's so cool! May I send you a friend request?
You'll get to learn someday! And have faith in yourself! :D We just bought our trailer, so I wasn't able to trailer anywhere for several year either.

As for the snake, it was.. um... okay. ;-) She started shaking as I tried to get her to stand there looking at it. I failed, and she ended up spinning around trotted away while snorting. Lol. I got her to turn back around and look at it though, then she walked in a big arc around it to get on the otherside. :)

Of course you can, lol.

Since I don't have a trailer to even try to tow, I was thinking about renting a small U-Haul trailer for the day. You can get one for like $30. My friend said she'd take me to a parking lot and set up some cones and learn me something, lol.
