    It is definitely not worth the risk. Filling the hole is simple and will take very little time to do.

    Hmmm, time to be creative. You need to come up with something that he'll want to fill the hole in and I don't mean the threat of him sleeping on the couch. Men will often listen to other men first, especially if it's a means to get out of work. They don't seem to realize they are walking on thin ice by doing this. When a friend couldn't seem to get her hubby to build a few promised stalls, he complained to me about ****ed horses. I asked him if he'd rather she go to the bar or the barn. Two stalls were completed the following day. Isn't it interesting how the little letter "n" can change someone's perspective.
