Angel

So, some of you know about Angel. Here is what happened.

Sunday, January 28, 2007 Angel was hit by a car.

Something spooked the horses in the field. Angel jumped the fence. She was in the ditch, and some guy with his family, swerved off the road and hit her. She broke her hind leg in two places. The RCMP officer didn't want to wait for the vet to come and put her down, so he shot her twice.

She was only 4 years old.

The fence

Skid marks on the ice

Her cross

A few hours before the accident.

Me riding Angel bareback. It was one of the first times we galloped bareback. (An older video)

RIP Angel.

My god!!! I'm SOOO SORRY!!!!! I can't imagine what you are feeling right now but i truly am feeling for you. I would be devistated if something like that happened to me.
I'm sure i can speak for everyone here that we all are here for you if you need us!
And like our boyjack said remember all the good times and you did the right thing!!

Riding a horse is not a gentle hobby, to be picked up and laid down like a game of solitaire. It is a grand passion. It seizes a person whole and, once it has done so, he will have to accept that his life will be radically changed.
