Green Broke
Alex..any idea on how he changed breeds? Lol Thoroughbred to Warmblood?

But shoot..he comes up for adoption and they're somehow still open I think I'd snatch him right up. I'm half tempted to call when I get settled into a new job and ask when he'll be done in training and fill out some paperwork, lol.

I didn't notice that he changed breeds, he's a TB. You prompted me to look him up, I don't think I have done that before, I find nothing on Bobby's Honor, Bobbys Honor, Bobies Honor, Bobbies Honor. He's for sure a TB though, seen with my own eyes.

They are scammers, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that's not his name at all. It's the same horse I saw though, I've been attached to him, and so have followed him. I knew I couldn't take him, and I didn't want to deal with them, but I really liked the horse.

I'd swear blind he's a TB and not a WB. I can't speak to how he is presented in the videos, but he did better for me, and I am not something amazing. I'd count myself as a middle of the road rider, not a trainer, I need one for Lucas.

I wouldn't present a horse if it was different from that. I think I have enough posts here to be believable. If the horse is seized, and I see him, as I will, and he is crap, I will tell you such. Promise. I have nothing but my reputation here.

WBs are more likely to bring in more money then a TB. It doesn't surprise me one bit that AC4H listed the horse as a WB as they scam people out of money. I'm very interested to see how this turns out.

Good news, a former volunteer contacted me on anther board. She is planning to take Bobby if it comes to that.

Christy is interviewed, of course she is innocent, and can't imagine what it's all about.

It was around 2008-9ish, when I saw him, he was sound them and with a lot of potential. I can't talk to how he is now, but he was a very nice horse then. There's some videos of him here on his page, I don't really know what to say about them, they make him look like he was just backed. I rode him, he knew steering, walk, trot, canter (on the wrong lead). I don't know the people riding him, but he wasn't like this for me when I rode him, he was just green. I promise I won't lie about him, and if he is like this if it all pans out as I think it might, and I see him... if he is like this, I will be honest about that. I can only think they have a lot of volunteers there of differing riding abilities.

If it pans out that he needs a home, I love you for being willing to take him. But I will be borrowing a trailer, and I am a foster parent, so can't take the kids out of state without a court order. If I can find a home closer, I hope you will understand, that I would opt for that. Thank you!!!

If you meant to post CM09, nothing came through.

That is really sad about the scam and your Bobby's honor. I wish I could take him, but a green owner plus a green horse isn't really a good idea. I hope he finds a good home.

Bought a horse from AC4H a few months ago knowing full well that it's a scam. A friend of mine had sold her horse while in college to pay for some medical bills. She did all of her research to assure herself that he was going to a good home, but for whatever reasons, the new owners sent him through to auction without contacting her first. He ended up at New Holland and was purchased via the "broker" that Christy works with. They asked an insanely ridiculous amount of money and insistent on a terribly short amount of time just so that we could re-purchase my friends horse for her. Under any other circumstances, I would of NEVER have purchased a horse from this organization. However, that's how they make their money; scamming those who feel for the poor, neglected horses or those who come across horses that they know and wish to buy back.

Nickers, I can understand that, I would have done the same thing. I am glad you got your friends horse back.

You must be pretty local to me then.

Morgonesse, you are right, a green horse isn't a good fit for a newer owner. A few people have told me that they are interested in taking him, if it comes to that, so I think he should be ok.
