You guys are probably sick of these threads. But I am really debating selling my horse Romeo. We butt heads a lot and even though I love him dearly I feel he is too much horse for me in the attitude department.
He did really well for the trainer last winter but he takes advantage of my timidness. My trainer had a blast riding him because she is more take charge which is what he needs.
But here is some info:
16 yrs old
He knows leads, really soft in his face, works off legs decently, can do roll backs decently also those are things he was learning before winter and I stopped riding
Been shown a bit in barrel racing and halter class (Just at fair)
He is really safe in the arena
Been trail ridden, safe on the road
*He is a bit shabby from not doing anything this winter*
He loads into a trailer fairly well now
Crosses water after he knows you are serious
Easy catch, lead, tie, clip etc
He is located in MN
He does tend to be bossy in the herd
And the biggest worry in my mind
He may have ring bone. I am working on a seperate vet bill and then I am going to get an x-ray done to see.
His neck looks funky in this pic, but its the most recent one of his body
