Another name suggestion thread

eh, i used to hate these but now i need some suggestions lol im terrible at coming up with cool names. and now i need 2 names. 1 for my pally and one for my , in the process of starting, breeding stud. its early days so ive got a little time but i need to find the perfect name and im not going to end up with that doing it quickly ;)

ok, so first i need a name for the farm/ranch. quarter horses only and my, wait for it, 10 YEAR plan, is to be breeding a top line of coloured quarter horses...palomino, buckskin etc it may end up a 15 year plan yet but ive got the start i just need to find names and register brands etc etc

my husband like something with 'Triple' at the beginning. He suggested Triple C Quarter Horses as our last name starts with C. its ok but im not overly excited about that name but do like the triple part. i am totally open to suggestion though. it also has to be something that will fit well at the beginning of a horses name. thats one of the things i didnt like about Triple C. it would sound a bit silly calling a horse Triple C Dakota Miss.

my list so far is small. i have Rainbows End Quarter Horses (gold at the end of the rainbow. gold = palomino), Pal O Mine Quarter Horses. told you i was bad at coming up with names LOL

ok so then theres my pally colt. his stable name is phoenix and i would like to keep that in his name as the whole american towns and states for names is becoming a habit here and i think we will keep it. so far i have arizona, phoenix and dakota. theres a trend happening so ill stick with it ;) will make the progeny more recognisable too.

he has a star and a snip and 2 white stockettes lol not quite socks, not quite stockings ;)

so i guess to start with im looking at ranch/stud names that will work well with phoenix and dakota. arizona is already registered so i cant change his name but the other two are up for rego now. dakota is special though so she already has a name ;)

getting off track a little there. so yeah any ideas and suggestions would be cool. id really like the name to even if inadvertantly, to suggest something about the palomino colour eg; gold, sun, solar and all that stuff.

ok, i think thats the longest request for names post ever lol

thanks in advance

I personally don't mind Triple C.

I also thought of Triple Gold Quarter Horses ( a play off you're rainbows end)

and as for names for the horses....sorry but I wasn't quite sure what you were asking? You wanted registered names w American towns states in them? or ?

Horses are like chips...you can never just have one

oh sorry. nah i want something that is going to fit well with those names as they are stable names my horses already have. the city and state names will form a pattern and they will all need to sound good when put together with whatever our stud name turns out to be :)

Well, how bout:

24 Carat Quarter Horses -- (from the encyclopedia) -- carat-(purity)- the carat is a measure of the purity of gold alloys.

Then you could have:

24 Carat Phoenix

24 Carat Dakota Miss
