Any Model horse enthusiasts??

Any model horse enthusiasts out there?? I'm one *hehe* expensive little buggars!

Haha, I love Breyers. I just started collecting last year, so I only have 9 Traditional Breyers right now, with one on the way (should arrive tomorrow). Do you just collect them, or do you have a stable, or do you show? I collect and have a stable.

Sorry for the rambling, I love talking Breyers.

I got rid of all my model horses from when I was a kid. I want to kick myself now. I only have one left.

I started sculpting my own, though. That's not cheap, either. Hehe

I collect them, although I don't have many, I think I have three traditionals and a few other smaller ones. I do some low key showing, although the magazine who used to run the shows is not going so well oh I also like making stuff for them eg rugs halters bridles saddle blankets ect. I'm glad to have found someone who shares the passion

Haha, oh yeah. I make halters too. :) And I sew western saddle pads and bareback pads. Nothing LSQ, mind you, but they're nice to have.

I used to collect them and make tack for them. I even started trying my hand at re-painting them. Never got to show them though.

I don't really know why I stopped.

Well, at last count I have 200+ all sizes from the minnie whinnies to the trad. Sizes

I was given 2 as a gift as a child which were the Family Arabian Mare (pally) and Yellow Mount, Paint Stallion. I was hooked!

My daughter is in 4H and has the chance to show model horses for her project but we havent decided if she will show them yet. Besides the state show , some of the smaller shows are more than an hour away. Not many people in my area have model horse shows. We def. Have been talking about doing it next year.

I wish I could buy more but my hobby herd has def. Taken a back seat to my real horses. I actually just sold one model (kennebec count) for some extra cash. He was a beautiful model! I mostly have been collecting the movie horses and some of the trainers horses such as Tommy Turveys and the like.

I was kinda thinking of selling a few more but WOW who do I pick?

I had a go at repainting a couple of Minnie Whinnies, but nothing spectacular Do you sell on ebay? I might be interested if you have "impress me shannon" Depends what price you want fo him *hehe*

I havent sold any on ebay...been thinking about it though.
I do have Impress Me Shannon but I don't know if I can part with that one ..I really like that model.

Hehe I like him too! Care to enlighten me on what others you have? I love looking at other's collections :) I have (traditionals) Phar Lap, Maddison Avenue and Milton. I also have couple of classics and some smaller ones
