im not sayin yall r mean at all but u go to a ropin or a team penning and people r like hey after the show where goin to eat want to come with us? but barrel racers r like i will murder u if u win... well also they r very clicky i guess cuz most of them r women and we have a tendency to b that way and if u r not in the regular group or u are really good they seem to b rude......i really dont know why. my mama was a barrel racer for many many years and her only complaint was the riders i have several cousins that barrel race and play day and there bitches sry to say... i am not sayin all barrel racers r but most of them i am sure ur not though

I ride western. Trail only. Nice and peaceful when there are no loose dogs to spook the horse . 8)

i ride western on trails every now and then. i dont like the western shows though. roping cow= broken calf necks, pleaseure shows= cut tail nevers, barrel racing=started out wayyyy to early and they get messed up legs, bull/bronc riding= tazard horses/bulls just to make them buck.
i know not everyone is like this but i just dont like being around that kind of stuff, i also disagree with burning feet of the gaited horses.

Oops, I'm sorry, I meant to quote, not delete! I'm sorry!
What do you mean by cut tail nevers? I've never heard of that, I don't think.

I ride a mixture of both western and English. whatever I feel like that day!

I also moved this post to General, as this has nothing to do with horse breeds. :)
