Exclamation Anyone have a AHA membership?

I was wondering as I want to look up an ID number for a horse, had an unusual email with BLM about my mare's ID brand when I sent the id in to check if she was a mustang or arabian but I can't get into the AHA because I don't have a usable debit card to check.

The email I got has put me on edge about her atm. Basically the ID and photos and photo brand matched a horse that was SUPPOSED to be "put down" and they were going to look into it more and expect them to contact me in a week about it.

SO can anyone help me? Id like to email them back and say Opps I found her in AHA registry so never mind. Speically now that I think I've done something I shouldn't have

Thanks

You can call AHA an ask them about the number and the name on the horse. They'll tell you if there's such a horse in the Arab or Half Arab registries for free. Otherwise, you'd have to find someone with a DataSource subscription or pay $10 for a one day use. I no longer subscribe to DS or I'd be happy to do it for you.

its almost midnight here on the east coast of the US so I shall probably call tomorrow morning since I doubt someone will be there :3 but I do thank you <3

God that email has me shook up -__- I'm worried that they are going to email me back and say that she is their BLM horse and want to seize her or something -ugh- I know I'm over dramatic but its like I was Super excited to find out something about her other than she's Old and was a cross country mare that was excellent at what she did and would go go go, even now with arthritis she goes goes goes. I'd hate to loose her over my own stupidity to learn more about her :(

Does the freeze brand start with an A or something else?

it starts with a you but I was told that it COULD be the freeze brand of the half arab if it didn't take properly but its definitely a

You. (the page wants to turn the letter .u. Into a you) sorry if it does

But the rest of the brand is correct, year 95 and then a ID number

Hmmm. I don't know of anyone who had a half Arab freeze brand, so don't know what they traditionally used as the alpha character. A is for the purebreds. Did you call AHA?
