Anyone know of any beaches to ride on?

Hi, I live in Virginia and I was wondering if anyone knew of any beaches on the east cost that I can trailer my horse and go for a beach ride?

I believe just about any beach will let you ride unless it has a "No Pet's" sign out front. At least that's for CT. You're down in Virgina right?

I know you can in DE & Ocean City MD

Here is the info for DE: Delaware State Parks Equestrian Trail Guidelines

And for OC MD (you need a permit)
Horseback Riding - Ocean City, Maryland

What about Virginia Beach? I'm sure it offers something like that also.

Assateague Island on both the MD side and the VA side allow riding. You'd have to look at their website for details on where exactly and which months of the year. The Outer Banks beaches in NC allows riding, you'd have to check for details for that too. And the same with Ocean City, MD, that someone already mentioned.

You can ride on the Myrtle Beach, SC beaches during the winter months. But there MUST be closer beaches. North Carolina?
