Attempt #6...?

First off, a big thank you to those of you who have PMed me (or texted, or phoned, for those close ;) ) asking why I haven't been around much lately. Denny and I are doing well - Denny is recovering nicely and to those of you who have kept up, I have a CT scan date in the new year to hopefully figure out what's going on with me -yay-

*second glare at computer* now, as to why I haven't been on the HF much... I believe my computer has been infected by viruses. Thing is, my spyware nor antivirus have found a thing.
Um, I don't know about any of you, but when my computer yells "HOLA!" and then goes on to explain something regarding credit (as well as a link to a -free- online credit check site *eyeroll*) it isn't the best thing in the world.
Oh, and the best part? It shuts down whenever it feels like.. hence my post's title.

Sooooo.... in an attempt to avoid my computer "accidentally" being stomped into plastic dust, I have been avoiding even looking at it. Appearantly when it comes to the whole patience with electronics thing, I don't have it.

Until I have my computer back up and running smoothly .. I will be scarce, for my own sanity. Please feel free to PM.. I will try and get back to you, but please be patient :)

The pictures above are from today... Rich snapped them even though it was bitter cold. Denny has been on stall rest for the past 3 months (2 separate injuries) and has become a dink. Here's a picture from before I let him loose in the arena to get some of his energy out. Ugh - believe me, that was corrected but fast. My dog spooked him (she usually stays home) and this was the result... (see below)

I got the OK to start riding again though, so I will be doing so shortly!

Okay I'm not going to press my luck, this is the longest it's let me stay signed in at one time... grrrr...

For your computer...delete the operating system and reinstall it. If it is in fact virus...then your puter is probably ate up with them. Delete the entire thing. You may be able to save some files if they are important. Make a copy of them...and when you know your computer is running smoothly again...add them on one by one.

I'm glad you're doing well JDI. I've missed seeing you and Denny on here! I'm so happy you can start riding again and that Denny's doing much better.

Welcome back! Even if it's for a short time.

If you are using IE that may explain your problem. There has been a warning about a bug that has been raising havoc. Many of us have switched to Foxfire or another browser for the time being. I believe it's been fixed so if you get regular updates from Microsoft, it should be OK now.

Ya I had to take a week off here as well because I had similar problems with my pc... hence my thread "trojan virus blah blah blah(or somehting like that)". It spred through the network to all 3 of my computers! I would have your man wipe it and re install it. Unless you know how to do it, then you can lol, but I personally had to leave that one to Nick.
