The reason she is so white is probably because she is kept stalled 24/7. :/ there was a solid white racking horse I used to compete against in my saddle club's Gaited Halter class. I asked his exhibitor how she kept him from sun burning and she said he never got out of his stall except to show. I caught him trying to get a tall piece of grass one day while he was tied to her trailer but the poor thing couldn't reach it because of his boots. He was a beautiful stallion with lots of ribbons and awards but the poor thing was basically a prisoner. I felt very sorry for him. Now, I'm not saying that the mare's owner is that way but most of them are so white due to a lot of time spent in a stall. Posted via Mobile Device
