best feed for my colt

Dont want to sound stupid. But what would be a suitable feed for my 5month colt cob, he just been weaned a week ago? Thanks in advance

A good compleate feed. Something like mare and foal, ultium, strategy/safe choice.

Yearling
All my babies (when I have them) Are fed purina Equine Junior. Which is a complete feed for baby/growing horses. And I have had great results.

Ok, thanks for the advice, I had some advice from a close friend expirienced horse rider/trainer to give him chaff,pasture mix,speedy beat. Am I right in saying this is the wrong diet??
