The look on my horses faces when they see my come up the barn driveway, hearing them nicker when they see me come. The smell of horses.

I love it when I go get on a green horse for my first time when the owner is there and they are too scared to get on and I ride the horse like he's an old blue horse and they're not even close to it.

That and when horses play in the hose water, or the funny ways they drink.

I had a great moment with my seven month old tonight!

Oh he was great. It was the first time I have taken him down to the main barn. Ooh he was cute. On the way down, he was snorting, he only reared up and got silly about three times. But he is such a good thinking boy, and little enough that he couldn't moose me around that I had no trouble getting him back together. Once we got him walking he was really good!

Once we got him in the Main Barn, I turned him loose to play...That little sucker is going to be CUTE! He is so springy off his legs, and uses them really well. He is not going to be as ugly as he is currently once he sheds out. I am confident of that now. And if he is, it looks like he is going to be talented enough for it not to matter. We'll just put a big browband on him ..... Hehehe.

When we were done, he walked like a gentleman back up to the Baby Barn, no sillyness at all.

So that was one of my great moments of the year.

Another thing that he does that I just adore is when he comes up for head hugs. He'll stick his nose on my chest or in my arms. He's such a love.

I agree.
A bit ago, Lexi had some trouble with loading into the trailer; she's so much better now. Not scared of it at all! :) I love accomplishing things like that, it shows leadership!

Ride more, worry less.
