So there are sheets, stable blankets, anti-sweat sheets, coolers, turnouts, fleeces, quater sheets, etc! so many different kinds and I don't know the difference between half of them. Anyone who can tell me what each is will be greatly appriciated!!
Stable blankets are for when they're in the stall. I've always known them to be a little more insilation inside and out, they go on under winter blankets.
Coolers are usually cotton. Put them on sweaty horses and depending on how sweaty it takes any where from a few minutes to a few hours to soak up ALL the sweat.
Turnouts are for turnout. Winter or summer blankets. They can be water proof and all that. They're for protection against the elements.
There are many differant sheets. Fly sheets, summer sheets, etc. they have differant uses but mainly all for protection or warmth.
