Boomer and Juno are Paint crosses. They are half siblings - out of the same father; different mamas. Juno is five years old and Boomer is four and a half. Juno is English broke - she jumps, does well on the flat, and is great in equitation classes. Boomer is a Western pleasure horse that is soon to be started on barrels. Juno is a chestnut tobiano and Boomer is all black aside from a white star, two white hooves, and a white belly.
They arrived last month. Yesterday I free-lunged Boomer in the round pen. I love his coloring. Juno is a sweetheart; I enjoy slipping her occasional carrots and pats. They are only here for training and I will be sorry to see them go.
