Boy, am I ever in the doghouse...

So, I decided to ride Blondie instead of Daisy for a change - for a brief 10 minute waltz around the back pasture. Daisy is my girl, and I love her dearly, but boy does she have a jealousy issue.

She won't even look me in the eyes. I have never seen a horse so anti-social as she was tonight. She's giving me the cold shoulder.

-sigh- Guess I'll just have to spoil her tomorrow.

Ha ha, mares, what are we going to do? I swear they get jealous easier than most.

Be careful now, Daisy might just have it in for you next time you ride!

LOL...I have a mare and a gelding and if I don't work with him first, be it grooming, riding, or even when the farrier trims them, he gets very very huffy. My non-horsey husband was amazed at how distinct their 2 personalities are and how jealous Jake gets. He's also highly amused by it. :)
