Brands - reading them?

Does anyone know what breed she is from her brand?

I'm guessing she's a TB, but could be cross WB.

Her brand on her left shoulder is a 'U' then a 'P' with a line over them, I just went and took a photo... can't really see it, it was raining and she's a little fluffy.

And her right should is a 4 over a 5, I know what that means :P

So yeah, she's a 6 year old Dark Bay Mare, 16hh. Previous owner said she thinks she is a TB WB x
But can crosses have brands?

I bought her from Sydney, NSW, Australia. If that helps.

Could just be the stables brand. I've seen smiley faces and hearts as brands...not sure how easy tracing it is going to be unless its some super stable over there that's really well know. I'm not aware of a brand database, but someone else on here I'm sure is more knowledgeable about that.

On that note - if you find something I'd be very interested in knowing about the database. My mare has 3 brands, I know one was her ID number, don't know about the others.

She has RJ on her left shoulder. The J is an extension off the R. She also has 810 and 8 on her left hip...but those I think are just ID numbers (like cattle tags) since she was from a PMU farm. The RJ puzzles me though.
