Lightbulb Buckle Ideas

So since our 4-h project never awards buckles these days I've decided to have one made for me. It would just be like a comemerative kind of thing not an award. My old nondescript one I got at fair my almost six years ago isn't looking as nice these days so I was wondering who everybody likes to order from, what shapes they like best, etc. Maybe even share some photos of buckles they've gotten over the years. I looked at Montana silversmiths and though they have great horse designs their llama motif is lacking. (not showy enough). Suggestions would be great!

Another question: Are buckles with a black background hard to keep looking nice?

Ok since I've gotten sixty two views and only one reply I think I should make it clear that I'm not trying to copy something anyone has won or act like I won something that I didn't- I think that's shameful. What I am doing Is ordering a buckle with a llama on it so I will have a nice buckle to wear everyday that represents my project area and what I do. It's just like someone having one done with their brand or farm name on it. That's why I want to know who people have worked with that they liked and what shapes are comfortable for everyday wear and have lasted over the years. I hope no one was interpriting this as me being a poser. Just wanted to make that clear because it was brought up in another post I was reading and I can't edit my original post anymore.

How much money are you looking to spend?

I love Gist buckles https://www.gistsilversmiths.com/custom-products.html but they can be spendy if you want to custom order one.
I like Bob Berg's stuff too Bob Berg Designs - Unique, innnovative and exceptional designed western jewelry collections.
Hubby had my wedding ring made by him :)
I would bypass Montana Silversmith completely, I dislike like their stuff. I have a few buckles that were made by them and they just look like they were bought out of the case at the feedstore.

As for the black background, yes, after a while the black can wear off but you can always send it back to the maker to have it refilled.

Oh, ok. I'm just having trouble looking for a nice llama figure so Gist and Montana Silversmiths don't have what I'm looking for. $300 is my absolute maximum. I have a buckle with the black and the silver cleaner I use makes it have this whitish film over it. I think Bob Berg is out of my price range unfortunately. I love his work. Pretty cool that you got your wedding ring there- very creative.
