    RIO

    Rio is 3 years old
    Rio is priced at $850.00
Thank you for your interest in Rio.Yes he is still available. Yes he is very sound and has no health issues. He is very correct and also has well aligned teeth. He has very healthy feet . No laminitis. Minis are prone to that so when the grass is lush I keep a grazing muzzle on him to prevent that from occuring. He is very easy to work with. Bathing, grooming, clipping farrier, vet no problem. Last summer I body clipped him and he transformed into the most beautiful refined little horse. He really is gorgeous. Hard to see under that big winter coat.I have him as a companion for my young horses and he has been great. The latest one he has been babysitting for is a BLM Mustang I adopted last summer. He taught him important things like running to the gate when I go to bring them in. All my young ones are now ready for training so I no longer need Rio. He will benefit with a new owner that will have time to perhaps train him for a job although he definitely does not mind the companion job. He comes with all his blankets and sheets and 4 halters. [ a fancy show halter, a leather grooming halter an d 2 turn out halters and his grazing muzzle] I have enclosed a couple more photos of him. Let me know if you have any more?s or would like to come see him.

    Rex is 11 years old
    Rex is priced at $500.00
Absolutely adorable 34" Red Roan mini gelding. Great with other horses/ponies, would make a lovely companion. Super easy keeper, good in barn and pasture, ties, bathes, loads, etc. Been shown in mini halter and jumping classes (in hand). Has application for Registration. He's a fun little guy to have around!

I think Rio is absolutely adorable! What will you be doing with the mini?

Well, the only plus is that Rex has experience with that. Though it's not a plus if he was trained badly. Then having Rio as a blank slate is better. Either way, both are very cute!

They are all so cute. It's hard to see a mini I don't like. Moonbeam is just lovely

As someone who shows at mini shows I would choose Rio if he is registered. It is hard to tell when they are hairy but his legs look much longer than Rex's. Longer legged minis will most likely move better and therefore be a much better driving horse and athletic enough for jumping in hand. At three years old he is old enough to begin both driving and jumping training. Does the seller mention his bloodlines?

Oh dear I can see why, as someone posted before about minis, you can't have just ONE!
