Buying my first horse

Hello! I'm looking into buying my own horse within a year to a year and a half. I'm looking for a horse about 15.3+ I'm tiny I have to admit but I love bigger horses. Any suggestions? I do love drafts by the way

Look at a lot of ads. Craigslist helps a lot too.

Did you want tips or for us to find ads for you?

Make sure you know the HYPP status. This is a bigger concern if you consider a QH, but other breeds have it as well. If you are looking at horses in other states you will need a Coggins test to take him home. Go out and see the horses you consider and ride them. Preferably go and see them more than once.

Hope those help some

No problem. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Sometimes I forget to say somethings that I know I already know about. My brain doesn't always work at full capacity
