I have decided on a horse and have everything settled with the owner. I am still buying supplies, like fly masks and turnout sheets. Where can I get the best deals and find used things for cheap? Does anyone know of a place?

THANKS!!

Check the Classifieds on this website - people will often offer great deals on quality items. Ask his previous owners if you can purchase any tack that fits him already. Ebay sometimes has good deals, equinehits.com has good deals sometimes.

Best of luck! We want pictures when you get him or her!

Were do you live? If you live close to an Amish community? If you do ask some of them. There tack is high quality for a good price (on average). I usually use the local TSC or craigslist.

Oh my gosh! I didn't know it was ALL SET! That's amazing! Congratulations!!!

As for tack, listen to everyone else. Ask the former owner what type of saddle he's used to... that's all the advice I can give.

Oh! And when is he coming to your barn! I can't believe you have a horse now!!!! That's AMAZING! Email! Tell me everything!

If there's a Fleet Farm near you, you should check that out.

tackwholesale.com also has everything you need, and a lot of it is dirt cheap. I get everything from them. The site is my best friend. :D
