Question Buying my first horse, some questions!?

I have decided on a horse and have everything settled with the owner. I am still buying supplies, like fly masks and turnout sheets. Where can I get the best deals and find used things for cheap? Does anyone know of a place?

Ask the horse's current owner. We have a local tack shop that has both new and used supplies.

Check the Classifieds on this website - people will often offer great deals on quality items. Ask his previous owners if you can purchase any tack that fits him already. Ebay sometimes has good deals, has good deals sometimes.

Best of luck! We want pictures when you get him or her!

There is a forum for horse people in my area that is full of classifieds. You can also check tack consignments shops, ebay, kijiji, craigslist, ect.

Congrats on the new horse!

Horse Tack : English and Western Tack at Wholesale Prices

Best website EVER. I got a $900 saddle there that had been reduced to $100.

Were do you live? If you live close to an Amish community? If you do ask some of them. There tack is high quality for a good price (on average). I usually use the local TSC or craigslist.
