Care for breeches and half-chaps?

I have a pair of Kerrits microcord full seat breeches and unfortunately I threw away the tag which had the washing info on it. Website says they can go in the washing machine - cold wash? Do I hang to dry? How often should I wash them - just when they're gross?

I also have a pair of suede half-chaps. Do I need to do anything special to keep them in good shape? They weren't expensive (got them on sale for $30) so I'm not really worried about them. Just want to keep them in good shape because they were hard to find in an XXL (I have abnormally thick calves for a girl my size!).

Thanks!

Rule of thumb, for any garment, if it's stretchy, don't put it in the dryer, the heat breaks down the fiber. With the suede, just brush it with a soft bristle brush or a special suede brush.

Breeches - cold water gentle cycle inside out, hang dry, never put in the dryer
Half chaps - just brush them with a soft brush when dusty
