Oh my, Endiku! You pulled a me! I laughed SO hard, because I've been in a similar situation. This one was way funnier than what I did, totally classic.

I'm glad your baby is okay, other than a little funny looking...O__o MOM!

What's also funny & this might only be me, but in that situation, here I am hugging the vet like he's pulled off a miracle, jumping up & down, high fiving, whatever & it never ever occurs to me to feel silly about it until later, after the adrenaline wears off. Then I'm like *derp* did that REALLY just happen?
Endiku likes this.

He knows when you're happy
He knows when you're comfortable
He knows when you're confident
And he always knows when you have carrots.

Kayella- Dr. Wheeler from Katy Equine :) they're great! I'm just glad he had a sense of humor...

Dusty- right? I was so embarressed after I realized that my horse was not about to die xD if I had just examined her myself, that wouldn't have happened and she likely would have kept her fur!

But hey, they say better safe than sorry!

Ah, I use Dr. Jenkins in Santa Fe. Now HE is amazing, he was great with Henny. I'm planning on getting him a little gift for doing such a great job at 3 in the morning in Thanksgiving

We have a friend that used him when she lived out that way!

I've only been using this vet for about two months (I switched from our normal farm vet when I bought my girls) but so far I really like him. He's very honest and puts up with my 101 questions quite well xD and the fact that he just laughed off my mistake was definitely a plus. I think our old vet would have have at least been annoyed and definitely charged me the farm fee plus a bit extra for it being right when they normally close.
