This is from the Belmont racecourse yesterday. And a 10 yr old to boot!

Wow, that was ridiculously amazing! I got chills when they crossed the line. Something about that was just great.

I just love this horse! I'm on my phone so can't easily find the link, but when he trains, his rider goes without a saddle or stirrups, and he wears a special hood over his poll/upper neck area. When I'm back in front of my computer, I'll find a recent picture of one of his workouts this past week.

I just saw that a couple of minutes ago. That's too cool, what a closer!

But, being 10 years old, they probably know exactly how he runs best and cater to that.

I agree smrobs. I even think at the end of the interview on that clip, the interviewer made a comment that the jockey isn't telling the horse what to do rather the horse just knows. So cool!

That was fantastic. And so nicely ridden by the jockey.

Did you see this one from a maiden filly who got left in the gate. The jockey later said he thought the gate scared her.

I did see that one a while back Alex, and thought the way the numbers at the bottom of the clip to show who was where on the track were kinda cool.

Another very cool race!

Lol. Love those old work horses that know their job. Well done. Well ridden.

One of my boss's TBs, a 9 year old won last week. He had run and won 3 weeks before, too.
