that was fun! the horse looked like he was just lollygagging along, then he comes from 30 lengths back!

Let's see if this picture works- it's from Calidiscopio's training prior to the Breeder's Cup- but he still works this way:


Now, I can't imagine climbing up on an incredibly race-fit TB at all, but I certainly can't imagine doing that with no saddle. Kudos to his exercise rider!!

Wowza! I got the chills too! I was supposed to be at Belmont for a fundraiser for my job yesterday! I totally *could of* seen that live!

P.S. It was raining like a fire hose yesterday! That track wasn't only sloppy, it must have been like riding in soup.

Aw. Too bad your trip to Belmont got cancelled.

They've got super drainage and materials on that track. Not much difference from good conditions. Night and day difference from when I was exercising.

No, I had a stupid dentist appointment. Lol... I know they have good footing but idk, lol, it was BAD...
