Thumbs down Chicks Saddlery-Question and Rant

Anybody have problems ordering from them or has anyone ordered over the Thanksgiving holiday?
I ordered some stuff on Nov. 26, online and still have not gotten it . Monday I called and asked what was going on, she said they have been bombarded with calls from people wanting to know where their stuff was and that my order was going out that day. STILL NOT A DANG THING, they have not taken the money out from account, no package NOTHING. I'm so pissed off. I just started working at Fed Ex delivering and I'm working 8am till 6 to 8 pm at night so I don't have time to do anything let alone figure out what their problem is. It won't even let me login to the account I created there.
Sorry for the rant, I'm just really PO'd about it. Afraid if I cancel they'll probably send it anyway and charge me then I'll already have ordered elswhere. Some of it was Christmas gifts too.

You can cancel the order with them and if they do try to charge you, do a stop payment. Show your initial receipt to your bank when you are doing the stop payment (if they try and charge you again) so that way you have proof of when you ordered. Was there an anticipated delivery or ship date on when you ordered? That's why I hate Horseloverz.com. They takes AGES to ship.

Also, according to the FTC and USPS, if you cancel an order and they send it anyways, it's considered a gift and yours to keep. Just make sure you watch the postmark. If it's marked the same day you cancel, don't open it and mark return to sender along with "order cancelled on 12/XX/10.

Hope this helps!

that's the same thing we do at Fed Ex too. I'm going to try to remember to take the phone # and stuff on Monday, I think I have to work 6 days next week so I don't even have the time to do this.
All I got was an email saying my charge account would be debted when the order was filled, but Monday she said it was filled and going out. Course I worked every day since.
GRRRRR.

Well called this morning, the bareback pad just arrived Friday at the warehouse and its going out today. Best thing, its going Fed Ex, so I can nab it right at the terminal before it even gets on the delivery van.

They didn't used to be like that Jenn. I had ordered a lot of stuff from them before and had great service with fast shipping. About June or July of this year though, it started going south. I don't know what they changed, but it's NOT working. I had ordered a set of spurs from them a few months ago, and it took them about 2 months to get them. I had hounded them enough til they offered to just cancel the order, or for me to pick out something else. Just call them...often. They'll eventually get tired and give you an actual answer.

Honary "HFA" member...That's right, I'm admitting it!

BTW....That's NOT rain on your windshield!!!!

I'll have to see what I think of the stuff when I get it. There was quite a few things I was thinking of ordering after Christmas but now I'm a little hesitant.

I ordered several things 1 1/2 weeks ago from Chicks and got all but a caveson last Friday. I called this morning about the caveson and she said it had been shipped and I should get it in the next day or so.

I TOTALLY understand your pain, but they have been good for me this Christmas season.

See I hadn't received anything from my order and was told last monday that it was going out.
He also said he'd send me the info for the tracking number via email and I haven't gotten that yet either.
