Exclamation ChickSaddlery.com?

Saddles Tack Horse Supplies - ChickSaddlery.com Tough-1 600D Waterproof Peace Sign Turnout Blanket
Hi guys, me and mum are in love with this cover but shipping is $64.95. Mum still wants it, but has anyone ever brought from this site? The description etc. just seems to good to be true. Any info would be great, thanks!

Chicks is OK. I never bought from their site, but I went there in person and bought from them at the Expo in past. They are cheap though (meaning the products don't seem to be a great quality). Know nothing about that particular blanket (and I never heard about the brand).

If shipping is as much as the blanket I'd rather go with cheap shipping + good brand blanket. Say those (shipping is free):

I assume you are looking at that blanket because you like the pattern of the fabric, right?

It is really cool looking.

Could you google around and see if there are any mail order places that are closer to you (so less shipping and handling fees) that sell the same blanket?

I wont shop from them, bad service. They dont update their websight. The sell you items that are out of stock, and dont bother to tell you they are out of stock for a couple weeks, sometimes not at all until you call and ask where your items are. Items should either be listed out of stock or you should be told they are ut when you get your order confirmation email. Oh and more agravating. You get a shipping confirmation that doesnt list what items shipped, so you are expecting something that doesnt show up.

when I called to find out what the deal was and when I could expect certain items, I asked why dont you update your inventory online ? or send out proper shipping confirmations, or out backorder notices in the original.

The customer service rep kept blaming "They" they should this they should that they they they,,, this was really pissing me off, like the rep didnt even work for the company. Nope to many decent places to shop like Jeffers or Horse.com.

Barrel, the OP is in New Zealand. Though good find, maybe the OP can see if the shipping from that site is cheaper.

I didn't pay attention she's from NZ. OP, I'm afraid the shipping will cost you leg and arm for any store then...

Are there no tack stores based out of that part of the world? That is why I suggested Google.

Yep, that's what came to my mind too. But I do remember people from NZ & Aus on forums who wanted to order from US & Europe. I was asked once (when I was posting my saddle on eBay) if I can ship there (didn't sound like troll/spammer). So I guess its just very expensive. The relatives of my SIL live in Aus and ask her to send them kids cloths from US. Even with shipping they get a better price.
