    From the depth of my being, please don't get a young untrained horse. It will most likely turn you off horses again. Myself & others could go on & on about the reasons why you shouldn't. I will give you the short reason (besides the owwies pix posted by bsms, ooh mama thatsa bad), it won't be the fun, it will be disappointing. Get an older trained horse, take some lessons & I guarantee you it will be fun and then you can get the young one and accomplish something. Remember, the purchase price of the horse is cheapest part. I would even recommend you leasing a horse first.
