Christmas Loot

What awesome horsey stuff did everyone get for Christmas?

I got the new helmet I needed and new winter riding boots. :)

The bridle I wanted, a turnout blanket that my horse can't destroy, a new breast collar and a summer sheet that my horse also can't destroy :).

A new set of reins to match my headstall and breast collar. Unfortunately I am way too clumsy to use split reins so I am researching the best way to turn them into a single.

I got a new halter and 2 leads, a western cinch I was needing, minx oil for my boots and leather cleaner for my leather tack and a good quality felt cowboy hat. I also got a gift certificate to Early's Farm and garden and 2 gift certificates to Cowtown so I can get everything else I need for my horses.

I got permission from hubby to look and buy any new saddle I wanted . His only request was that when I tell him how much its gonna cost to make sure he's sitting down and has a cold beer in his hand. So all in all and pretty good xmas lol

I got a new harness for my donkey.

Also a nice zebra-print lime green saddle pad. Wasn't really about the color, but more that I really needed one.

I'll have to post pictures later since I'm not home right now (out working so I can make money for more horsey stuff.) I got a really cool diamond stud bridle, nose band, and breast collar set, leather harness for my horse (will be picking it up plus the cart in a day or two), and the Ubraid it book on how to make tack with paracord. So overall very happy. Also got a gift card to a local craft store so I can always get stuff there to make horsey items.

Driving Santa was good to us horse and pony drivers this year.

I also got a harness. Well, money towards getting one of the best marathon type driving harness around. The Comfy Fit harness which I absolutely love how sleek and awesome it looks. I got other non-horse related stuff, but it wasn't much and that's OK because I'm getting the harness of my dreams (as soon as it ships ... yep any day now. )

And then the mare and pony got fly masks and a really really big bag of Ms. Pastures cookies.

I love your donkey buttinthedirt! Super cute! There is nothing quite like an equine inspired Christmas! :)
