christmas party!

I am planning the christmas party for my barn nd I was wondering what are some games we can play? They have to be on HB and christmas themed.

What about the candy cane race? Where you start at one end of the ring ride down to the other side then grab the candy cane who ever eats their candy cane first and makes it back down to the end of the ring the started wins :) I can go more detailed if you would like to know more (that is if you don't already know this game)

I don't know. It may sound cute, but I just see someone choking on candy cane. Why not buy small stocking and see who can stuff them first with horse treats placed around the ring. Sort of a relay race.

still I see a choking hazard. Not even if somebody got on a horse with a it still in their mouth but trying to eat something that fast....maybe if the candy cane was like a baton like in a relay race...

At camp we have pool noodle ponies (We use them for day campers so they can ride a "horse" by themselves) and during rodeo we do "musical saddle pads" basically you get old saddle pads and they replace the chairs in musical chairs and you ride your pool noodle pony around until the music stops, like in musical chairs . You could even make it Christmas-y by getting some of those giant plastic candy canes to replace the pool noodle ponies (plus that way you don't have to make a dozen pool noodle ponies)

How about a peppermint Hershey's kiss instead? Or a small glass of hot cocoa?

You could do the flag race with Christmas trees and a large ornament. Or race down, around a Christmas tree, and back.
