Managed to catch it on TV since I do watch Colbert's show. My family, who are not horse people, were laughing just as hard as I was.

I just watched these and I couldn't breathe from laughing so hard. My dad kept looking at me like I was insane.

I hope it was a fake tiara that he dropped at the end. I am sure that's worth some coin.

Man I was cracking up when I watched it! I always get weird looks when I was The Daily Show and Colbert Report but I'm pretty sure that moment made me look like a maniac.

OMG!!! I am watching it and I can't believe what he is saying. This is unfreakingbelievable.

Do you think Michael had ANY idea? He seems almost put off at times. Like, WHAT A NUTCASE.

What great spots! Michael made an excellent "straight man" to Colbert's comedy. It was all too funny. It certainly has given dressage a boost in the eyes of the non horsey.

I was very impressed with Colbert's seat and leg position. When the mare spooked, he never lost his seat. If he has not had previous riding, he is missing out on some natural talent. It may be interesting to see if he decides to ride more in the future.

There are several times I almost "piaffed" on myself too.....but that's another story....
