When we lived in Wisconsin and rode in either an unheated arena or outside, I lived for my Carhartt with an UnderArmour longsleeve (underneath).

We're in Florida now and I have still have my well-worn Carhartt jacket . For the very occasional cool morning in the 'Winter', I will throw it on.

I love how comfy it is after all the washings!

It is rechargable. There's a small battery pack that sits slightly behind your left hip. When it needs a charge, simply take it out of the jacket and put it on the charger.

My coat provides heat to your chest and back (not the arms) but it does also have the "hand warmers" option, which is located in the front pockets to warm your hands!! You can turn on/off the coat and the hand warmer pockets independently of each other.

There's also 3 different heat settings, high medium or low.

Keeps you toasty warm!

It is not enough to know how to ride; one must know how to fall.
