    collage- animal science..?

Not sure this is the right place for this, and I think I may have had a similar thread but I don't remember.
I plan on going to Potomac State collage for animal science with focus on equine science and will also get an equine production and managment degree. But im not sure its really worth it with the economy the way it is theres really no money in it, but im also unaware of all the possibilitys with an animals science degree. No matter what I decide on, my career will be with animals. I couldn't be happy doing anything else. What do ya'll think?
Im not completly set on Potomac State, are there anyother collages I should look at?
I have also thought about maridoth manor, not sure what for though . A consolar at school told me to look into the collage of Phindlay Ohio? I graduate May 2013 and plan on going to collage fall 2013

I think you should look at jobs, whats the demand ? How many projected openings, whats the salaries, THEN look at the requirements for that job and work towards meeting those requirements.
Unemployment offices are full of college grads that do it backwards. Go to school for something that interests them with no thought into job demand. Just ask my niece at the Tasty freeze with her degree in Native American studies.

Yes, yes and yes - having passions is great, but that passion doesn't always pay the bills.

Better off doing something you are suited for and lucrative enough to support a hobby of owning animals.
