College Major?

I finally have time to work on college, now that I'm done with all my training but I have no idea where to start. Obviously I need to get my freshman courses taken care of and with AMU that should be relatively easy and I should be well on my way by 2015 when I get out of the military and be a full time student.
I really want to have a racehorse rehabilitation center somewhere down the line but I'm not really sure what I would need to get there. I plan on studying equine massage and breeding, and I have found some schools with really good equine programs.

I would recommend at least minorig in business if you're planning to run your own facility down the line. Other than that yeah find a school with a good horse program, particularly one that you could focus on rehab type stuff.

Try and go for Equine Management and Training: It has a Business Part focused on the Equine Industry (that's the Management part) and a whole lot of praxis and actual riding (the Training part). Depending on the discipline you want to ride at, check out schools that have that focus.
My personal focus is Dressage, so I am taking Equine Management and Training at a college that focuses on dressage exclusively (and does it wonderfully! I really only have good things to say about my college and my program) We have a couple of rescued TB horses as school horses - they are all trained well in Dressage though.

There are quite a few schools out there and maybe even one in your area. Good luck :)
Going into the Racing business and esp. rescueing, etc. you still might want to snoop around Kentucky in specific, given that they are the center of the racing industry...
