Costume Help!

So my first show of the season this year is a little 4H open show. I decided to do the costume class! I think I'm going to make my gelding Clifford! Like Clifford the big red dog! My gelding is pretty much a big dog so it fits his personality haha :) I could use some help planning it out!
So what I have thought out so far:
- get red felt/fleece/whatever fabric I can find and create a 'blanket' of sorts by using my heavyweight blanket which has an attached neck as an outline
-use red vet wrap for his tail...try to wrap the whole thing
-a collar and tag made out of dark brown fabric and a tag made of cardboard (maybe? Not sure about the tag?)

So I'm not sure about his face, ears, and legs. I think I mi might need to do floppy Clifford ears so that people actually get that he's Clifford lol. And his legs...maybe red
Polos or more vet wrap? That's what I need help with!

This is my guy:

And here is Clifford-

Thanks for any suggestions!! ;)

I would do red polos. Also you can attach the floppy ears to the sides of his halter.

I have no idea, but if it were me, I'd make him a zombie horse.

I agree with 5Bijou5! It wouldn't be that hard to get a piece of red felt or fabric from a craft store and attach it to the halter with Velcro or something like that. Please post pics of the finished product!
