That crazy boy scared the crap outta me today!

So I went out to the barn this morning to give everyone their breakfast, and when I went in, I couldn't see Flash in his stall. I walked right up, looked in, and saw him sprawled out on his side in the stall. I called his name, but he didn't even move, so of course I got a little nervous. I raised my voice a bit and called to him a few more times, still nothing. So now I'm getting kindof scared, so I banged on the stall a few times, still nothing- not even a twitch.
I rushed into his stall to see what the problem was, expecting the worst, tapped him on the shoulder, and what does that little bugger do?? Lifts his head up, looks at me with a very confused expression, and gives a big yawn!!!!!
I was very relieved, but could have smacked that little bugger for scaring me like that. Its funny now, but geeze was I ever scared! I thought he was dead!
Anyone else have anything similar to this happen to them?

Ha, HA, funny buggers!
I looked out the window today and saw my three sprawled out around the round bale I just put out there, my own cut hay. Usually two nap and one stands guard so I've never seen all three SPRAWLED out. I opened the window and hollered "COME ON", my feed call and not a one lifted their heads! So I ran out there to investigate, a couple lifted their heads, yawned, then proceeded to nap. They eventually all got up and went to their buckets, so I KNOW they heard me! :)

You can get a lot further with a ladder than you can with crutches!!
What do you mean what do I mean?

Lol. That's funny. The little buggers sure know how to get us going don't they? I am so glad he's ok. The first thing I thought of was colic. We lost a horse to that when I was little, and it still strikes fear in my heart when I hear the word.
The silly boy must have been in a deep sleep because I sure was making a lot of racket. The other horses were looking at me like I was crazy!
