Yea as far as I no that's not tecnically true. The cat was already dead. I had found that picture before and was fascinated by it so had to find out if it was real. Ended up getting a link to a mule association website saying they had had so many emails and stuff regarding that picture but they had reasearched it and its of the mule attacking an already dead cat.

If you look at the images properly you can see the cat is limp, therefor not fighting back because its dead. However it does give a very interesting insight into the mules( and horses for that matter ) natural instincts and behaviours not so often seen.

Is cool either way.

One time many years ago, my horse Cocoa and I were out trailriding in the woods, alone.

A pack of wild dogs came after us... I kicked her trying to get her to run, but instead, she spun around at the dogs chasing us and kept rearing up and flying her hooves at them. She hit a few of them and they all ran off except for the one, which she killed.

Horses/mules are pretty amazing animals
