    Crazy Stupid Cancer

So some of you may have seen my post about a growth on Koby's back leg. We decided to have a vet come out and biopsy it. After a few days of anxiously waiting for the test results we find out that it is cancer...my worst nightmare. Koby is only 8 years old and is the sweetest horse you have ever met. My parents decided that since he is such an amazing horse, that we would do whatever is takes to save him...He is scheduled to have surgery hopefully by the end of the week to remove the tumor. The vet is hoping to remove all of it and for it to never come back. We are very hopeful but the surgery is VERY expensive.Prayers would be greatly appreciated. I will keep everyone updated on his progress.

Best wishes, cancer is just the most random, completely not understandable thing.

You & your horse are in my prayers. I hate cancer-a lot of people I know are battling it.

Sending best wishes and a complete recovery for your horse. It is great that your parents are willing to try and save Koby.

Having lost my Dad and Mother in Law, and my Mom is battling breast cancer now, I feel for your horse. Good luck and lots of good thoughts headed your way.
