    Discussion with my husband...

So last night my husband and I were talking about absolute requirements for a buying a house, and things that we could live without.. We said the basics; squarefootage, location, land, etc.. And I was like, "Well what is the minimum amount of acres you want?" (we had already had this discussion so I started to write at least three to five..) and he was like, "Oh, well at least two so we can have a dog and a garden." DEATH STARE.

You should have seen his face, I think for second he was scared of me. :) (he only outweighs me by 100 lbs, I could take him!) Two acres my BUTT, we need three so I can build my barn and have enough room so if I decide to get more horses than my initial horse I can. And that's final!

Six is an odd sounding number. 10 sounds MUCH better! :)

    Yearling
I have 7 and my horses love it (I have two right now and both of them are hard keepers and TBs and are VERY fat).

Until they figure out how to make more land, it will always be the best investment you can make.
