Do olympic riders "walk" their course?

Do olympic riders walk their courses before they ride in the olympics? I was just thinking about it and wondered if they walk their courses the night before the ride or something.

They most definitely do. Usually them, and their trainer at least. If they are part of a team, usually the whole team walks it as a group as well.

Yes, all the time; sometimes more than once.

Definitely, usually once with the team + coach, then once by themselves (if not more than once by themselves).

Do dressage riders walk the arena I wonder, to test the footing, or the eyelines to the judges booths or anything?
