That would be a bad idea you know why so I will not repeat what everybody said, If a friend could go with you they could be you watch dog or bring a dog and tie it out side the stall

No way. If you are worried someone will steal your horse, don't leave your horse unattended. You could even get one of those fake security cameras that look as close to being real and I'm sure no one would think twice about touching your horse.

I have slept many of a night outside my horses stall. Ozark empire fair was one, I had Seamus the Clyde, 18.2 and the stalls were portable and about 8 x 8. I was afraid he wouuld just walk right through the stall and take the entire row with him. If you think there might be a problem, don't go or sleep next to him, don't lock him in.

If someone really wanted to steal your horse, all it would take would be a pair of bolt cutters on your lock. Personally, I think you're being overly paranoid.

Thanks everyone :) I was really wondering about locking, + curious to what others do.

Suprisingly, I hadn't thought of sleeping in the stall ... hmm... Would save $ on a hotel xD Jk!

I could use some funky knots to keep people out. I know one that is actually really easy to get out, but decieving and will deter people >

That's because I am. My mom is the same way. :p Runs in the family...

The first photo is a county fair and the stalls were 3 sided and you put 4 x 1 slats across the front to keep them in. I slept in the next stall for 3 nights.

Second photo is of the ozark empire fair and the portable stalls, I was lucky I got a corner, provided some sembelance of privacy, in my mind anyway.
