After 4 years of a love/hate relationship with my pony and we sound a whole lot like you 2. I am selling him. I have found an awesome horse that has a whole entire different attitude and everyone at the barn says I am way more relaxed and always smiling. I had forgotten how much fun it was to have a horse. I did my best for Hunter and we went through a lot in 4 years but he needs to go live with someone else. Sometimes no matter what you do it just isn't going to work. Hunter is fine with everyone else. Its just me. I am tired of the fighting and now look forward to going to the barn again. Just a thought.

Yeah, I was thinking it was just me, but then I realised that he his WAY worse to everyone else, especially if they are scared of him. So with Luca, the more scared you act around him, the more grouchy he gets. So I think he just needs a confident leader. And I'm working on becoming that leader.

I am sorry to hear that you and Hunter are parting ways, but you would know best when it is time to call it quits. 4 years is a long time to hang in there, my hat is off to you. I could not imagine my life without my wonderful girl. She still tests me now and then but she is my soul mate. I'm a sucker for a project horse.

Glad you are having fun at the barn again

Hooray! Yay You! Let us know how it progresses. You will be amazed at the amount of respect you get from him and how great that feels.
    Very exciting

Ya it was a tough decision, I have had him since he was 15 months old was a rescue. We have discovered that he loves to jump so I am hoping he will go to someone who wants to jump!

Dream catcher that sounds exactly right. Love to hear how things progress.
